- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆If you want to stay somewhere that feels old times then this is a good place. Don't expect all the modern amenities or you will be disappointed. Clearly built before indoor plumbing (I found a pic of the place from 1881) and when small bathrooms and sinks were added to the rooms it was in a quirky fashion. - ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Cute little pub on the main street. We were in the pub, which was more relaxed than the dining room across the lobby. The waitress was very pleasant and gave us an unexpected discount for having a large group. I had the two-piece fish & chips. It was a good portion size and seemed to be homemade but the breading on the fish was rather soggy. However, we took another fish & chips to go and it was crispier.
